2022
Ses12naus contributes to the development of Ibiza as a place for the creation, production, and enjoyment of contemporary art. With an international focus, we invite artists and thinkers to dialogue with the island, generate new narratives, feed new perspectives, critical thinking, and inspiration in diverse audiences.
We started as a biennial residency program on a farm in the centre of the island. Ses12Naus (Las12Naves in Ibiza) is a metaphor of 12 creators as 12 ships that arrive in Ibiza, interact with it, contribute ideas, and generate cultural and social value.
As the world recovers some normality, we begin a new stage in 2022, with challenging programs based on the experience between artists, audiences, and the unique context of Ibiza.
